Department of Neonatology is equipped with PBU ,GBU and SPBU units and it provides comprehensive care for premature and full-term infants with a complex of neonatal problems.

Our dedicated team of doctors and supportive staff are able to provide continuous monitoring, investigations and specialized medical and nursing care for these newborns.

Department of Neonatology consists of NICU ,GBU and SPBU units and it provides comprehensive intensive care for premature new-born babies and full-term infants with a complex of neonatal problems.

• Total bed capacity 46 with 5 NICU beds (2021), BOR 50%
• Newborn care improving
• Operates as a regional training center
• Introduced Neonatal transport service initiated in January 2020

Initiated Neonatal COVID unit with 06 Beds (Treating Neonates with Covid since 2020)

Future Plan

According to the Hospital master plan – Neonatology unit will be shifted to the new OPD building
